freeslotTerms of service
These terms cover your use of the freeslot Chrome extension ("freeslot", "the service"), operated by Pavan Kumar Rachapally ("we", "us"). By installing or using freeslot you agree to them.
The service
freeslot reads your Google Calendar, with the permissions you grant, to find free time and format it for sharing, and converts times between time zones. Solo and Time Convert are free. Team and Select require a Pro subscription.
Your account and Google access
You sign in with your own Google account. You are responsible for the calendar data you choose to share with others using freeslot. You can revoke freeslot's access at any time at myaccount.google.com/permissions. How we handle data is described in the privacy policy.
Pro subscription
- Pro costs $24 per year or $3.99 per month, shown in USD. Taxes may be added at checkout depending on where you live.
- New subscriptions start with a 7-day free trial. You are charged when the trial ends unless you cancel first.
- Subscriptions renew automatically each month or year until cancelled.
- You can cancel at any time from Settings → Plan → Manage subscription in the extension, or from the Polar customer portal. After you cancel, Pro stays active until the end of the period you have paid for.
- Payments are processed by Polar (polar.sh), who is the merchant of record and the seller of the subscription. Polar's terms apply to the payment itself.
- We may change prices for future renewals. We will give notice before a change takes effect, and you can cancel before it does.
Refunds are covered by the refund policy.
Acceptable use
Do not use freeslot to break the law, to access another person's calendar without their permission, to interfere with the service or its billing, or to bypass the Pro subscription.
Availability and changes
freeslot depends on Google's APIs and our hosting providers, and we do not promise that it will always be available or error-free. We may change or discontinue features. If we discontinue Pro, we will refund the unused part of any prepaid period.
No warranty and limit of liability
freeslot is provided "as is". Check the times it suggests before you commit to them, since calendars and time zones can be wrong or out of date. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for freeslot in the 12 months before the claim.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India. This does not remove any consumer protection rights you have under the law of the country where you live.
Changes to these terms
If we change these terms we will update the date above. Continuing to use freeslot after a change means you accept it.
